Frequently Asked Questions
What can I have embroidered?
Any text you like, stitched in your choice of twelve curated fonts and twenty-four thread colors. Up to 10 characters on the front, 10 on the back, and 8 on the side. Letters, numbers, and basic punctuation are supported.
Can I put my logo on these caps?
Not on this page. Logos need artwork review and a stitched sample photo, so they run through our custom cap designer, which starts at 25 caps. This page is text only, which is what makes the 10 cap minimum and the faster, no-sample process possible.
Why is there no sample photo step?
Because nothing is left to interpretation. The fonts, sizes, and placements are fixed, so your caps are stitched exactly as the preview shows. That is also why we ask you to double-check your spelling before ordering: what you type is what we stitch.
What is the minimum order?
10 caps, in one color with one text setup per order. Want several colors or different texts? Place a separate order for each, or use the custom cap designer for full flexibility at 25 caps and up.
How much does it cost?
$32.00 per cap at the 10 cap minimum, with volume discounts down to $22.00 per cap at 50 or more. Your front text is included, and adding back or side text is $3.00 per cap per location. There are no setup or art fees, and no hidden costs at checkout.
How long does delivery take?
2-3 weeks from order to your door. Because there is no sample approval step, personalized caps move straight into production.
What size are the caps?
Personalized caps ship in our Regular fit, which fits most adults. If you need a mix of Small, Regular, and XL, use the custom cap designer, which supports size mixes with no size minimums.
What if I made a typo in my order?
Email wholesale@liftdown.com right away with your order number. If production has not started, we will fix it at no charge. Personalized caps are made to order, so we cannot accept returns for typos once they are stitched, but if anything arrives defective or different from your preview, we will make it right.
